To create data products with high quality and reliability, a close link must be established between the business and the data team. Exchange and mutual understanding are the basis for providing professionally and technically correct results. This presentation uses the example of the project “goods flow controlling” to show how interdisciplinary collaboration has helped GALERIA saving high license costs and at the same time ensure a reliable data product for all supply chain-related issues.
Interaction between people, task, and technology.
Jonathan works as Tech Lead for the Data & Analytics team at Galeria, a well-known department store chain in Germany. With more than seven years of experience in IT and interdisciplinary projects, he has extensive knowledge of the modern data landscape, which includes everything from data engineering to data visualization. As a product owner, he was involved in the development of the central data platform and promoted collaboration between the business units.
In addition to implementing data products, Jonathan is also responsible for cultivating an agile mindset and working methodology within the data team.
